Women's Ministry

My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3


The Locust Grove Women’s Ministry is designed:


  • to build and nurture Christ-centered friendships among women
  • to encourage and support women in all seasons of life by strengthening their personal relationship with God
  • to provide women with opportunities for weekly Bible studies, fun fellowships, Women on Mission groups and inspirational retreats

Ladies Weekday Bible Study


A ladies weekday Bible Study meets each Tuesday evening at 6 PM and each Thursday morning at 10 AM in Room #101 behind the sanctuary. The morning study is led by Sarah Bengs and Judy Prestage and the evening study is led by Donna Jones. We will be studying Beth Moore's "A Women's Heart, God's Dwelling Place." Workbooks will be approximately $17. Please join us for the time that's most convenient for you!

 
  

Women's Sewing Circle

 
 

Ladies, let's get together for a night of sewing together. Bring your quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, needle point, or even your mending. We will meet on the first Monday evening of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in Room #101 which is located behind the sanctuary.
