GED Tutors Needed
Locust Grove is beginning a partnership with Calhoun Community College to offer a GED program. We need volunteers to tutor adults in the areas of reading, math, writing, science, and social studies. Classes will be held in the Christian Life Center on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 4:30 - 8:30 PM. If you would like to volunteer, please contact our church office at 379-2813.
 
Special Needs Life Group
Locust Grove now has a Special Needs Life Group that meets from 9:15 - 10:15 on Sunday mornings. This class is for ages 12-adult. This is an opportunity for parents to be involved with a Life Group as well as their child to learn about the love of Jesus. If there is a need for younger ages, we will attempt to meet that need. Please call the church office in advance so we will be prepared to meet the needs of your child.
 
Fellowship Meal

Our Fellowship Meal is held each Wednesday at 5:30 PM in the Christian Life Center.

Angel Food Ministries
Locust Grove is now sponsoring the Angel Food Ministries. This ministry will provide a box of food for $30 that is usually worth more than $60. The menu changes each month and includes frozen foods, meat, fresh and frozen vegetables, fruit and desserts. There are no requirements for purchase, anyone can buy any number of boxes, and there are specials each month that can be added for a special price. The deadline to order an Angel Food Box is Sunday, September 12. Boxes may be picked up at Locust Grove Baptist Church between 8-10 AM on Saturday, September 25. Library Inventory
Do you have a book??? Maybe one you checked out of the church library many weeks (months??) ago? Please search your homes, cars, trunks, lockers, closets, etc. and bring all church library books back to the library. Our librarians are trying to account for books that have been entered into our system but cannot be located. You can leave the books outside the library door or bring them to the church office.
